Back in a old forgotten eighties of last century Moscow Militseoners ( Policemen) were equipped with many attributes of Soviet Policeman attire, as uniform, police badge, special boots as well as a car, dog and of cause the gun. However some attributes were not as visible as ones listed above, some of them were part of their intellectual property, something which would help them to figure out were they are as maps, something which would help them to wright citations or keep a track of bribes given to them by well aware drivers who would budget them in to the travailing expanse on a way to work and back - pan and small notebook. As well they needed to be aware with whom they are dealing, in terms of ethnic origin, so they would know exactly how much to ask from particular individual . Depending on the ethnicity of the driver size of the bribe could go up or down. I do have a small example of the cheat sheet, which would list most common ethnic groups and their sketches of Moscow , which were in a pocket of most Moscow Policemen back in the mid-80s of the last century.
